I Guess It Couldn't Save Itself !

Having grown up in a so called "Christian" faith, in fact a denomination that calls itself "The True Church" all the while ignorant of  and ignoring the GENUINE CHRISTIAN FAITH BOLDLY ON DISPLAY in the Book of the Acts Of the Apostles, I can greatly understand and empathize with the utter shock that this event produces in those who saw this event take place.

I only wish that they could as I did so many many years ago get the revelation of Gods word that he HATES IDOLS AND IDOLATRY. Pure and simple. I am sure this was just an accident, and yet, doesn't it tell you something about the complete inability of these things to help YOU when they can't even help THEMSELVES?????

Iranian Pastor Sentenced To Death For Not Repudiating His Christian Faith

Iran - WORLD

Iran court convicts Christian pastor convert to death

A trial court in Iran has issued its final verdict, ordering a Christian pastor to be put to death for leaving Islam and converting to Christianity, according to sources close to the pastor and his legal team.
Supporters fear Youcef Nadarkhani, a 34-year-old father of two who was arrested over two years ago on charges of apostasy, may now be executed at any time without prior warning, as death sentences in Iran may be carried out immediately or dragged out for years.

“The world needs to stand up and say that a man cannot be put to death because of his faith,” said Jordan Sekulow, executive director of The American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ).
“This one case is not just about one execution. We have been able to expose the system instead of just letting one man disappear, like so many other Christians have in the past.”
It is also feared that Nadarkhani will be executed in retaliation as Iran endures crippling sanctions and international pressure in response to its nuclear agenda and rogue rhetoric. The number of executions in Iran has increased significantly in the last month.
“This is defiance,” Sekulow said. “They want to say they will carry out what they say they will do.”
The order to execute Nadarkhani came only days after lawmakers in Congress supported a resolution sponsored by Pennsylvania Rep. Joseph Pitts denouncing the apostasy charge and calling for his immediate release.
“Iran has become more isolated because of their drive for nuclear weapons, and the fundamentalist government has stepped up persecution of religious minorities to deflect criticism,” Pitts, a Republican, told FoxNews.com. “The persecuted are their own citizens, whose only crime is practicing their faith.”
The ACLJ has been a major driving force in keeping Nadarkhani’s case in the international spotlight. Many other advocacy groups and human rights organizations also have mounted global campaigns and petitions against the Iranian government, and experts credit Nadarkhani’s international support for keeping him alive.
The ACLJ recently launched a Twitter campaign to publicize Nadarkhani’s case, asking participants to dedicate a daily tweet to “Tweet for Youcef,” stating the number of days he has been imprisoned (currently 863) and ending the tweet with “ViaOfficialACLJ,” sending readers back to the organization’s website where they could learn more about his case.
Tweets have reached 157 countries and over 400,000 people.
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and 89 members of Congress, along with the European Union, France, Great Britain, Mexico and Germany, have condemned Iran for arresting Nadarkhani and have called for his quick release.
Nadarkhani was arrested in October 2009 and was tried and found guilty of apostasy by a lower court in Gilan, a province in Rasht. He was then given verbal notification of an impending death-by-hanging sentence.
His lawyers appealed the decision under the premise that Nadarkhani was never a Muslim at the age of majority, and the case was sent to Iran’s Supreme Court, which upheld the lower court’s decision of execution, provided it could be proven that he had been a practicing Muslim from the age of adulthood, 15 in Islamic law, to age 19, which was when he converted.
The lower court then ruled that Nadarkhani had not practiced Islam during his adult life but still upheld the apostasy charge because he was born into a Muslim family.
The court then gave Nadarkhani the opportunity to recant, as the law requires a man to be given three chances to recant his beliefs and return to Islam.
His first option was to convert back to Islam. When he refused, he was asked to declare Muhammad a prophet, and still he declined.
Iran’s judiciary had delayed in issuing a final verdict, fearing the decision would have far-reaching political implications.
Sources say Nadarkhani has been advised by family members, lawyers and members of his church to remain silent throughout his ordeal, out of fear that authorities may use his statements against him, a strategy commonly employed by the regime.

Saints Caught In the Crossfire

One of the saddest things of late was the recent veto by Russia and China of the United Nations attempt to help the people of Syria that are being butchered by a dictator no less brutal and bloodstained than Saddam Hussein was. The first country God sent me to as a missionary on what can TRULY be called "THE FRONT LINES" was the nation of Syria. back in 1987. With NO missionary support at that time we had a wonderful breakthrough seeing so many precious men and women hear and obey the Apostolic Plan of Salvation!

Today the violence being perpetrated against the citizens of Syria by a government that can only be called Demonically Inspired is spreading across the entire nation. The people are being butchered and NO ONE seems to hear their cry for HELP.

At this very moment Apostolic Men Women Boys And Girls are cowering in basements as the shelling of their neighbourhoods continues unabated. In the city of Homs , men women boys and girls that I have PERSONALLY baptized in Jesus name and Prayed through to the baptism of the Holy Ghost are praying for deliverance from this massacre.

In the city of Aleppo , Syria where the work began there are again many men women and children who obeyed and received the Act's 2:38 experience watching as now THEIR city comes under attack!

I am currently in contact withy many of these fine saints of God who are wondering if they will even live to see the light of day tomorrow.

Please keep them in your prayers their need is URGENT.

God Bless You Brother Joseph Conroy

Brother Charles Isobor

This has been a very very sad time for us here at Apostolic Lighthouse in Augsburg. As you know over the past months I have been posting repeatedly about the rapidly growing and demonically escalating violence in the land of Nigeria. As you also may know we have quite a few people in the Augsburg, Germany church  who were born and raised in that country.

Three years ago Brother Charles Isobor began coming to our church, A muslim from Nigeria, he was baptized in Jesus Name and filled with the Holy Ghost here at the Apostolic Lighthouse in Augsburg.

Several weeks ago he returned to Nigeria with his fiancee so they could be married there in his home country,

Last week Brother Charles was brutally murdered by the Muslims, , hacked to death by Machetes  because of  his conversion to Christianity. Those of you who have visited us here over the years undboubtedly remember Brother Charles, a very friendly and enthusiastic worshipper of Jesus Christ. To say we are stunned by this is not even to begin describing the numbness that this has left in our hearts and spirits.

Our commitment to opening the first Apostolic Lighthouse in Ibadan, Nigeria is every bit as firm as before. Please help us , we have so many needs and so few seem to have the genuine missionary vision of years gone by, One major need we have this month is a vehicle for Germany. Brother Plowmans church in Texas had been so phenomenally generous to help us and I sent that vehicle down to Nigeria to open the work there.

This winter I am driving a twenty two year old van whose under carriage has so completely rusted that just the other day the entire exhaust system just fell out onto the street as I was driving. (I am scared to death to ask how the ball joints and things are. Probably ready to go any second!)  There is no heat in the car which in this month of temps that have hit as low as seventeen plus degrees BELOW zero has been incredibly miserable. (Not to sound like a boo hoo hoo story but you simply HAVE NOT LIVED until you have to drive forty five minutes each way in sub zero weather with the passenger windows down as the breath you breathe immediately freezes into ice crystals on the interior windshield due to NO DEFROST)

In all of this I wonder if the church in North America really even HEARS the missionaries cry anymore or if it is just so much easier to shut it out? I mean "SOMEONE ELSE WILL HELP"... At the same time the possibility of opening a brand new church in the city of Bamberg, Germany is on our doorstep and the resolve remains the same! WE ARE GOING TO DO IT! But HOW??????? Pray for us! God Bless You! Brother Conrroy and The Shell Family
